REMIX! Harrison Ford is a Real Hard-Ass of a Boss

ADVICE: Don’t accept a job from Harrison Ford. Hell, don’t even go for the interview. Just watch/listen.

ORIGINAL VIDEO:

After the jump, the remix featuring Harrison Ford, with special guest appearances from Bill Haley and Chris “Wheels” Wheeler. Also, major H/T to the always awesome Tug Haines from The Fightins (@mistertug on Twitter)

Also, if this isn’t the greatest thing I’ve ever done, (a) I’ve done something else that’s really fucking great, and (b) I’m quitting tomorrow.

Enjoy.

Pay Dat Man Heez Mooney

Happy birthday, Jayson Werth! (And, by association, his beard, as well.)

After the jump, John Malkovich has some for Ruben Amaro, RE: Werth’s much-talked about contract negotiations. Malkovich is no outsider in this debate. Many years ago, long before he was a Russian poker star, even before he had a small portal in his head, Malkovich actually got shellacked by Werth in the minors.

Ch-Ch-Changes (Also, FOX Sucks)

I really hate it when both the starting and back-up shortstops are injured. Third-stringer Wilson Valdez is filling in for Juan Castro (hamstring) who left Wednesday’s game and, in turn, has been filling in for Jimmy Rollins (calf) since the home opener on May April 12.

Meanwhile, Chase Utley is out of the line-up, but Ryan Lawrence notes that it’s merely a day off, not any kind of injury to worry about. Utley’s rest, which, despite being horrible timing, is actually prudent to keep the starters fresh for the entire season, pushes Placido Polanco to second. That means that utilityman supreme Greg Dobbs is today’s third baseman.

As if that wasn’t enough already, new All-Star candidate Carlos Ruiz has the day off in favor of back-up Brian Schneider.

Finally, the Phils won’t even have their manager today as Charlie Manuel due to “personal reasons,” leaving bench coach Pete Mackanin at the helm.

Line-up is as follows:

Madson Sentenced to 8 Weeks of Rehab For Chair Kick

Set-up man (and closer for the month of April) Ryan Madson, who kicked a chair after blowing a save in the 10th inning of last week’s game in San Francisco, has received the prognosis from team trainer Scott Sheridan after surgery today. It’s not good. For the team or Madson. Rehab is said to take at least 8 weeks. Per Zolecki’s Twitter:

Need multiple sources to confirm something for you to believe it? Then thank Ryan Lawrence from The Delco Times! (BEWARE: he is more Negadelphian reports a longer injury delay.)

Fine, it’s a difference of, like, half a week. Nonetheless, this keeps Madson out until at least June 29, and it’s entirely possible that he doesn’t return until after the All-Star Break two weeks later.
